PSU Women’s Basketball player selected to Senior All-Star game

PLYMOUTH, N.H. -- One of the seniors on the Plymouth State University women's basketball team has been selected to play in the 22nd Annual Senior All-Star Classic this Sunday by the New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA).

Senior Mandi Allen (Blue Hill, Maine) was named to represent Plymouth State in the event, which is Sunday at PSU's Foley Gymnasium (1:30 p.m.). A total of 24 seniors from around New England were voted in by the coaches association, six from the Little East Conference.

A 5'7" guard, Allen was a team co-captain and started all 26 games for the Panthers this past season. She finished the campaign as Plymouth State's leading scorer and third-leading rebounder, averaging 10.8 points and 5.0 boards per game.


The Panthers finished the season with a 10-16 overall record, including a 4-10 mark in the Little East Conference.
