Wyland, Emerson and Lawrence score in double figures in loss

CASTLETON, Vt. – Seniors Kayla Wyland (Melrose, Mass.) and DeAsia 'Ace' Lawrence (Middletown, Conn.) and sophomore Cassidy Emerson (Concord, N.H.) all finished in double figures as Plymouth State University fell to Castleton University, 58-49, in non-conference women's basketball at Glenbrook Gym.

A strong defensive effort by the Spartans defense helped give the Castleton a 10-4 lead after one and the Panthers were never able to catch back up.  Each time PSU cut into the deficit, Castleton would respond with a run of its on to take the victory.
