            Allison Flynn is in her fourth season as head women’s basketball coach at PSU in 2018-19. Flynn led the Panthers to a 5-9 record in the Little East Conference in 2016-17 earning a fifth place finish, the highest for the team since the 2008-09 season. Her teams have won 14 games in two seasons, as many as the previous four seasons combined.


            A graduate of Norwich University, Flynn previously spent four years as an assistant women’s basketball coach at Saint Anselm College from 2009-13 and was the head girls varsity basketball coach for two seasons at Beverly (Mass.) High School.

            Flynn has prior collegiate coaching experience at the Division II and III levels. She started with a two-year stint as assistant women’s basketball coach at her alma mater, Norwich, from 2006-08, and then served one season in a similar role at Saint Michael’s College in 2008-09. After her four years as an assistant at Saint Anselm, Flynn took over in 2013 as head coach at Beverly HS, where she led the team to the Division 1 North Semifinals last season and was named North Eastern Conference and Salem Evening News Coach of the Year.

            “I am looking forward to bringing the women's basketball program back to a competitive level where we can be contenders in the Little East Conference," said Flynn. "The team is hungry and we are all very excited for what the future holds. Great things can happen when everyone believes.”
