Ashley Peaslee is in her first season as an assistant coach for the Plymouth State Women’s Basketball team.
Peaslee is a 2013 graduate of the University of Maine at Augusta (UMA), where she was a three-sport athlete competing in soccer, basketball, and bowling, serving as captain of all three sports for four years. Peaslee was the starting sweeper all four years for soccer, being named all-conference three years in a row and a member of the National Championship All-Tournament team her freshmen year.
Peaslee was the starting point guard all four years for the UMA Lady Moose basketball team, becoming the first female player at UMA to score 1,000 career points. In her senior year, Peaslee helped lead the Lady Moose to their first ever regular season championship, and she led the nation in steals three times. She was also a member of the 2013 YSCC bowling conference championship team finishing fourth overall.
Peaslee is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Physical Education at Plymouth State with a concentration in Athletic Administration.
