The Monarchs got on the board eight minutes into the second period, and added a pair of goals late in the middle frame to take a 3-2 lead. The visitors poured it on in the third period, tallying six unanswered goals to put the game away.

PSU freshman Lindsay DeLorie (Holliston, Mass.) was solid in the Panther goal, finishing with 49 saves.

Plymouth State returns to the ice this Sunday with a game at Bates College (1:15 p.m.), a contest that was a recent addition to the schedule. The next home game is Tuesday, Jan. 17, against Nichols College (6:00 p.m.)
