Plymouth State looking for new women’s ice hockey coach

PLYMOUTH, N.H. - The Plymouth State University women's ice hockey program is looking for a new women's ice hockey coach as the team begins its first varsity season in 2006-07.

Mark Wojcinski, who has served as head coach for the Panthers since starting the program three years ago, has announced his resignation to spend more time with his family.  Wojcinski and his wife are the parents of two young children.

The Panthers grew under Wojcinski from a start-up club team in 2003-04 to a program that PSU President Donald P. Wharton announced last month will be a varsity team beginning next season.

While the search for the new Panther coach goes on, PSU Co-Senior Women's Administrator Lauren Lavigne will handle administrative duties for the women's ice hockey program.
