PSU Womens Ice Hockey player earns ECAC honor
PLYMOUTH, N.H. - For the second time this
season, the leading scorer on the Plymouth State University women's
ice hockey team was honored by the Eastern College Athletic
Conference with selection to the ECAC Women's East Weekly Honor
Roll.
Freshman Jaimie Camara (Portsmouth, R.I./Portsmouth) returned to the Honor Roll on Tuesday after a solid performance last week. She also earned the same honor once last month.
A 5'6" forward, Camara (right) registered four points in PSU's 0-2
week with three goals and one assist. She tallied both
Panther goals in Friday's 6-2 loss at Saint Catherine (Minn.), her
first career multi-goal game, and she added a goal and an assist in
Saturday's 5-3 setback at Augsburg (Minn.) Camara scored at least
one goal in five straight games before coming up empty on Monday in
the final game of the Minnesota road trip, a 6-1 loss to Bethel.
PSU returns to the ice this weekend with a pair of ECAC East Conference games at Waterville Valley, hosting Norwich on Friday at 6:00 p.m. and Castleton on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
