PSU Womens Hockey player honored by ECAC
PLYMOUTH, N.H. - One of the top players on the
Plymouth State University women's ice hockey team was recognized
Monday with selection to the Eastern College Athletic Conference
(ECAC) Women's East Conference Weekly Honor Roll.
Sophomore Brianna Davis (Framingham, Mass.) earned her first selection to the ECAC Honor Roll after leading the Panthers in scoring last week. She is the first Panther player to receive weekly honors this season.
A 5'3" forward, Davis (right) scored three goals for PSU
in two games last week against two of the top teams in the
conference. She scored a first-period goal Friday night
against league-leading Holy Cross and added a pair of goals, both
on the power play, in Saturday's season finale against Salve
Regina. Davis had scored just one goal last year and one goal
this season prior to erupting for three last weekend.
The Panthers completed their fourth varsity season with last weekend's games, finishing this year with a 0-24-0 record and 0-19-0 in league contests.
