PSU Women’s Ice Hockey to celebrate National Girls & Women in Sports Day

Panthers to honor females in sport on Friday

            PLYMOUTH, N.H. – The Plymouth State University women's ice hockey team will hold a special Girls & Women in Sports Day this Friday, Feb. 9, during its New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) contest against the University of Massachusetts Boston.

            All females will receive free admission to the game and a number of special events will take place during the contest, including a t-shirt giveaway, a special chuck-a-puck and an appearance by Pemi the Panther.

            Following the game there will be an opportunity to interact with players and coaches in a meet and greet, autograph and Q&A session.

            Women and girls are encouraged to represent their groups or sports teams at the game by wearing team/group attire. Puck-drop is set for 6:00 p.m.

            Regular admission prices are $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under.
