Flooding causes Panthers' NEHC clash with Johnson & Wales to be rescheduled
PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Due to anticipated flooding from ice jams on the Pemigewasset River, the Plymouth State University women's ice hockey game versus Johnson & Wales University, scheduled for 6:00 p.m. tonight, has been postponed. A make-up date has yet to be announced.
Plymouth State (3-11-3, 2-4-3 NEHC) travels to league-rival Castleton University tomorrow, (Saturday, Jan. 26) for a 3:00 p.m. match-up with the Spartans. The Panthers' next scheduled home game is Wednesday (Jan. 30), a Pink the Rink battle with Amherst College (6:00 p.m.).
At present time home events scheduled for Saturday (Jan. 26) will continue as planned. PSU women's swimming and diving is set to host the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth at the PSU Natatorium for Senior Day and its Breast Cancer Awareness Meet at 1:00 p.m., while the Panthers' men's ice hockey team welcomes MASCAC foe Westfield State University to Hanaway Rink for a 6:00 p.m. puck drop.
