Dayle Wilkinson of Stouffville, Ontario, is in her second season as an assistant coach for the Plymouth State women’s ice hockey program.
Coach Wilkinson graduated from St. Lawrence University in 2014 after four years of holding the blue line as a standout defenseman for the Saints, serving as captain her senior season. Wilkinson boasted a terrific collegiate hockey resume, collecting 36 points, and in her senior year, was second on the team with 70 blocked shots. Her relentless play helped guide her team to the ECAC championship. Wilkinson was three times awarded the team’s “Best Defensive Defenseman” and was selected to the ECAC All-Academic team in each season as well.
Wilkinson is attending graduate school at Plymouth State with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
“Dayle is an instrumental part of our program and we are excited to have her as part of the Plymouth State community,” said PSU Head Coach Ashley Kilstein. “Between Dayle’s clear knowledge of the game, vast experience, and passion for teaching the game the way she played it – she is an exceptional fit.”
