PLYMOUTH, N.H. - The two leading scorers on the Plymouth State College women's lacrosse team have been recognized by their conference after leading the Panthers in a pair of games last week.

It is the second such honor this season for Sheridan, while Hartman earned NEWLA honors for the first time this year and second time in her career.

Sheridan and Hartman accounted for 15 of PSC's 24 goals in two games last week, a 15-9 defeat against Trinity College on Tuesday and a 15-4 victory over Keene State on Wednesday. The two have combined for 39 goals and 16 assists in seven PSC outings this spring.

With season totals of 20 goals and seven assists, Sheridan ranks tied for fifth in the 13-team NEWLA in assists per game (1.00), eighth in goals per game (2.86), and ninth in points per game (3.86).

A junior attacker, Hartman contributed eight goals and three assists in the two contests, including her 100th career score. She had three goals and two assists against Trinity, then added a season-high five goals and one assists against Keene State. Her fifth marker at KSC made her the eighth player in school history to reach 100 career goals. With season totals of 19 goals and nine assists, Hartman ranks fourth in NEWLA in assists per game (1.29), tied for fifth in points per game (4.00), and 11th in goals per game (2.71).

The Panthers, 5-2 overall heading into Monday's non-conference game against Colby-Sawyer, are in first place in NEWLA's Northern Division with a 2-0 mark. PSC's next conference game is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Arold Field on Thursday (Apr. 19) against Castleton State (1-3 overall), the only other team in the Northern Division with an unblemished NEWLA mark (1-0). PSC's home game against Bowdoin on Tuesday (Apr. 17) has been postponed, with no make-up date announced.
