High School

A 2011 graduate of Tyngsboro High School in Tyngsboro, Mass., Connerty was a three-year letter winner in lacrosse and basketball. Connerty also lettered one year in basketball and lacrosse at Nashua South High School in Nashua, N.H. In lacrosse, she was a two-time Dual County League First Team All-Star and was also named a Lowell Sun First Team All-Star in 2011. Connerty was also the recipient of the Kelleher Award (Best Performance in a Season at Tyngsboro HS). In basketball, she was honored as a Dual County League All-Star in 2010.  Connerty was a team captain for both sports her senior year. 

Personal

Shannon Michelle Connerty is the daughter of Ken and Bernie Connerty of Nashua, N.H. Her father Ken played baseball for UMass Lowell and also played in the Minor Leagues. He was inducted into the UMass Lowell Athletic Hall of Fame in 1992. Connerty has two older sisters (Kerri and Jackie) who played collegiate lacrosse. Kerri played at UMass Amherst and Jackie was a two-time Captain for Plymouth State.
