A 2009 graduate of Kearsarge Regional High School in Sutton, N.H., Richardson was a four-year letter winner in lacrosse, soccer and skiing. Her senior year, she helped lead her squad to the State Champsionship game vs. Hollis-Brookline. She was coached by Scott Slogic.

Amanda Jane Richardson is the daughter of Ed Richardson and Katy Keith. She has one brother (Danny).
