PSU Women’s Lacrosse receives academic recognition

Panther team, four individuals honored by IWLCA

            PLYMOUTH, N.H. The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) has announced the academic awards for 2013, and the list of honors includes the Plymouth State University women's lacrosse program as well as four individual student-athletes.

            Plymouth State was one of 86 schools in Division III recognized by the IWLCA as earning Academic Squad honors for the 2013 season, which is awarded to institutions with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. 

            In addition, the IWLCA honored 383 student-athletes from 67 different institutions with inclusion in the 2013 Academic Honor Roll.  The list included three from Plymouth State – junior Sports Management major Allison Gonyea (Auburn, N.H./Manchester Memorial), senior Business Administration major Amanda Richardson (Bradford, N.H./Kearsarge), and senior marketing major Caitlin Swanson (Holderness, N.H./Plymouth Regional).
