A 2013 graduate of Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School in Ballston, NY, Godfrey was a four-year letter winner in lacrosse and a member of the equestrian show jumping team. In lacrosse, Godfrey was a part of the 2011 team that won their first ever Section 2 Championship and made their first ever Regional appearance. In 2012, she placed on the All-County Second Team. Her senior season in 2013, Godfrey was a First Team All-County selection and Second Team All-District selection as she led her team to another Section 2 Championship. She was the second leading scorer and broke the Burnt Hills girls’ lacrosse program record for assists in a single season. Godfrey also won the Unsung Hero Award, The Sheryl Lauria Award (for leadership and community service) and the Shellstrong Community Service and Leadership Award her senior year. Godfrey was coached by Jake McHerron.
Jordyn Lacey Godfrey is the daughter of Mark & Shelly Godfrey. Her father Mark played football at University of Maine and graduated in 1980. Jordyn is one of 5 siblings (Mark, Cole, Chase, and Janaye). Mark has been an E6 fire control man in the Navy for the past 11 years. Cole is a sophomore at Lebanon Valley College and plays Division I ice hockey. Chase is a sophomore at Sacred Heart University and plays Division I lacrosse.
