PSU Women’s Lacrosse receives academic recognition
Panther team, three individuals honored by IWLCA
PLYMOUTH, N.H. – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) has announced the academic awards for 2014, and the list of honors includes the Plymouth State University women's lacrosse program as well as three individual student-athletes.
Plymouth State was one of 125 institutions in Division III recognized by the IWLCA as earning Academic Honor Squad accolades for the 2014 season, which is awarded to institutions with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher.
In addition, the IWLCA honored 363 student-athletes from 126 different institutions with inclusion in the 2014 Academic Honor Roll. The list included three from Plymouth State – senior Sports Management major Allie Gonyea (Auburn, N.H./Manchester Memorial), junior Childhood Studies major Molly Gleason (Haverhill, Mass.), and junior Physical Education major Amy MacDonald (Hull, Mass.).
