     Nicole Adams is entering her first season as assistant coach for the Plymouth State women's lacrosse team. Adams joins the Panthers after a one-year stint as the varsity head coach at The Spence School in Manhattan, N.Y.

     In 2011, Adams spent the season pursuing her Masters Degree at Durham University in England. While at Durham, she continued her playing career and helped lead the Durham Women’s Lacrosse team to its first ever championship season.

     A four-year standout for Castleton State College, Adams was a four-year NEWLA All-Conference Team selection as an attacker. In her illustrious career, she tallied Castleton State records of 267 career points, 101 career assists, 95 points in a season, 42 assists in a season and ranks second all-time in program history with 166 goals. 

     Adams was also a two-sport athlete at Castleton, playing two years on the women's ice hockey team. She was named to the ECAC All-Academic Ice Hockey Team in 2007 and 2008 in addition to being recognized for academic honors by the IWLCA.  

     In 2009, Adams was named the NEWLA Scholar-Athlete of the Year and was recognized by Castleton State College with being named the Sharon Brown Award winner for demonstrating excellence in leadership and character.

     Adams is a native of Rutland, Vermont and attended Rutland High School. After graduating from Rutland, Adams completed a post-graduate year at The Berkshire School in Massachusetts.
