PLYMOUTH, N.H. - Four members of the Plymouth State College wrestling team have been ranked among the top six in the region by the New England Intercollegiate Wrestling News.
The Panthers as a team are ranked fourth in the New England Division III poll, behind Bridgewater State, Springfield and Norwich and ahead of Coast Guard, WPI, Roger Williams, Williams, Rhode Island College and Trinity.
Plymouth State's ranked wrestlers include senior Marco Salce (Keene, N.H.), who is ranked #1 at 184 pounds; sophomore Nate Kittredge (Vergennes, Vt.), second at 197 pounds; sophomore Rich Moskowitz (Amherst, N.H.), third at 157 pounds; and sophomore Jared Raymond (Danville, N.H.), sixth at 125 pounds.
Salce also has the top record on the team. He is 9-2 overall and won the Oneonta Invitational last weekend in New York. Kittredge is 7-2 and finished runner-up at the Roger Williams Invitational two weeks ago, and Moskowitz is 6-1 with a first place at the Roger Williams meet. Raymond checks in with a 5-2 record.
The Panthers return to action on Saturday, Dec. 2nd, when they travel to Wisconsin for the UW-Parkside Open.
