PSC Women's Soccer player receives weekly honor

PLYMOUTH, N.H. - Plymouth State College women's soccer player Erin Pepe (Franklin,MA) was rewarded for her two goal effort against Gordon this past week by being named to the Little East Conference Honor Roll, as she led the Panthers to a 2-1 victory.

Pepe scored the game's first goal midway through the second half, and netted the winner with less than three minutes remaining in regulation. The senior co-captain has now upped her career goal total to nine and has two tallies for the season.

In the '98 campaign Pepe was selected to the All-New England second team and started every game for the Panthers. She has started all nine games for the Panthers this season and is hoping to lead them into the post-season for the 17th consecutive year.

The Panthers, are currently 5-4 overall and 0-2 in the LEC. Monday's UMass Boston match-up was postponed due to rain. The Panthers are home Wednesday (Oct. 6) to face Colby College at 4:00 p.m.
