PLYMOUTH, N.H. - The Plymouth State University Women's Soccer and Field Hockey programs will hold the second annual "Breast Cancer Awareness Day". The two Panther teams will be honoring the theme of Breast Cancer Awareness during the their final regular season home matches next Saturday, Oct. 29, which will also be "Senior Day."
The Panther field hockey squad hosts Framingham State College at 12:30 p.m. at Arold Field, while the women's soccer team will be hosting the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth at 1:00 p.m. at Panther Field.
As part of the day's activities, each person who attends at least a portion of both matches will be presented with a pink lanyard representing the combined efforts of the Plymouth State University Women's Teams in raising Breast Cancer Awareness.
A 50/50 raffle will be held at both games with one winner announced at halftime of the field hockey game. All proceeds will benefit the fight against breast cancer.
All of the local youth soccer and field hockey players are invited to come and wear their team shirts to both games.
