A freshman forward, Marcell (left) scored both goals in
PSU's 2-0 LEC win over UMD on Saturday, moving the Panthers past
the Corsairs in the conference standings and into the LEC
tournament scenario. Both her goals came in the last 16
minutes of the game to clinch the victory. Marcell, who did
not play in PSU's midweek game at Bridgewater State, leads the team
in scoring with seven goals, one assist and 15 points. She
also ranks sixth in the LEC in goals and tied for ninth in points.
