PSU Women’s Soccer player named to All-LEC First Team
Saltalamacchia represents Panthers with strong play at MF
PLYMOUTH, N.H. – The leading scorer on the
Plymouth State University women's soccer team was recognized by the
Little East Conference Tuesday for her outstanding play during the
2011 season.

Senior Sammi Jo Saltalamacchia was named to the 2011 LEC Women's Soccer All-Conference First Team. She led the Panthers in scoring this fall, her second year with the team after transferring from Keene State College. The All-Conference teams are voted on by the league's head coaches.
A 5'6" midfielder, Saltalamacchia topped PSU this season with six goals and three assists. Four of her goals came against conference opponents, including the only score in PSU's LEC play-off lost to Western Connecticut. A Childhood Studies major, Saltalamacchia was also named to the LEC All-Academic Team last week.
The Panthers wrapped up the regular season at 5-11-1 overall and 2-4-1 in conference play. They were the sixth seed in last week's LEC Tournament and got knocked out in the first round by Western Conn.
