The Warriors outshoot the Panthers in a fast paced match
Plymouth, N.H.– Despite a beautiful lead off goal from the head off the corner by graduate student co-captain Leah Swanson (Atkinson, N.H.) at 2:22, the Plymouth State University women's soccer team could not hold off the Eastern Connecticut State University Warriors in what was very fast paced game. The Panthers had opportunities in enemy territory but could not penetrate a very strong Warrior defense. Senior co-captain Annaliese Schmidt (Newmarket, N.H.) had another stellar day with 11 saves on 14 shots on goal. This was the Panthers first loss of the season, leaving them 1-1-0 in LEC play.
