            PLYMOUTH, N.H. – The Plymouth State University women's soccer team has announced its complete schedule for the 2019 season. The Panthers kick off their 17-game schedule, which includes an eight-game Little East Conference (LEC) slate, on Saturday, Aug. 31.


Leading the Charge:

  • Head coach Ryan Joy becomes the longest tenured coach in program history as he enters his sixth season at the helm. The Panthers have made three LEC Tournament appearances under his guidance and have averaged nearly seven wins a season during his tenure.

Key Dates:

  • Saturday, Aug. 31 vs. Emerson – Season / Home opener
  • Wednesday, Sept. 4 at Middlebury
  • Saturday, Sept. 28 vs. UMass Dartmouth – LEC opener
  • Wednesday, Oct. 16 vs. Keene State – Rivalry game
  • Saturday, Oct. 26 vs. Castleton – Senior Day

Strength of Schedule:

  • Middlebury College advanced all the way to the national championship game last fall, losing 3-2 in penalty kicks, to end the year ranked second in the United Soccer Coaches' Poll.

Location Breakdown:

  • Nine home games
  • Eight road games


  • LEC Tournament – Nov. 5, 7 & 9

Looking Back:

  • PSU went 2-6-0 in Little East play last fall, but missed out on the postseason.

LEC Notes:

  • WestConn and Eastern Connecticut posted identical 6-2-0 records in conference play to share the regular season title. The Colonials notched a pair of 2-0 wins in the playoffs to capture the LEC Tournament championship.
  • The winner of the six-team LEC Tournament will earn the conference's automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament.
