PSC Women's Tennis falls to Saint Anselm in last dual match

PLYMOUTH, N.H. - St. Anselm College powered past Plymouth State College Monday in women's tennis action, 9-0, at the P.E. Center Courts.

The Hawks swept all six singles and three doubles matches, improving to 3-8 on the season. PSC completes the dual match season with a 3-6-1 overall record under first-year coach Judy Switzer.

PSC sophomore Becky Wark (Westbrook, ME) was defeated at No. 5 singles, but finishes the dual matches with the best singles record on the team at 6-4. The top doubles tandem this season was senior captain Sarah Schutzendorf (Fayetteville, NY) and sophomore Rachel Lorenz (Moultonboro, NH), who posted a 4-3 record at No. 1 doubles.

The Panthers get back into action Saturday and Sunday (Oct. 17-18) at the annual Little East Conference Tournament at North Dartmouth, Mass. PSC will be looking to move up from last year's third place finish.
