PSC falls at St. Michael's
Winooski, Vt. - Plymouth State College dropped its second consecutive women's tennis match Tuesday, suffering a 7-2 defeat at St. Michael's College.
The Panthers got a singles win at No. 4 from freshman Katie Olsen (Reading, Mass.), improving her record to 2-0, but the Purple Knights swept the remainder of the singles matches.
In doubles action, Olsen was again a winner, teaming with partner Sadie Roy (Lewiston, Maine) at No. 2 for a tiebreaker victory in the eight-game pro-set.
The Panthers, 0-2, return to action next Monday, Sept. 18, at Salem State (3:30 p.m.) The first home match of the season is next Wednesday, Sept. 20, vs. Green Mountain (3:30 p.m.)
