Panther Womens Tennis falls to Endicott
BEVERLY, Mass. - Endicott College turned the tables on the Plymouth State University women's tennis team, avenging an 8-1 setback last season with a 7-2 victory over the Panthers Tuesday afternoon in a non-conference match.
The Power Gulls swept the three doubles matches and took four of the six singles matches en route to the team victory. The highlight for PSU was provided by senior Sarah Cole (North Waterboro, Maine), who won her match at #5 singles to improve her record to 5-0 on the season. Freshman Meghan Rodier (Francestown, N.H.) also collected a victory at #6 singles for PSU to improve her mark to 3-2.
The Panthers, 0-2, return to Plymouth for the home opener on Thursday (Sept. 8) against Colby-Sawyer (4:00 p.m.) at the P.E. Center Courts. Endicott 7, Plymouth State 2
