The reigning LEC Player of the Year and First Team All-Conference selection, Jakubas helped the Panthers to a pair of LEC victories last week over Salem State University and Western Connecticut State University.

A 5'6" senior, Jakubas won both of her #1 singles matches in straight sets, and teamed with freshman Irene Ireme (Concord, N.H.) for a pair of 8-4 victories at #1 doubles. She has won five singles matches in a row to up her season record to 6-1 and her career mark to 20-1. Jakubas is also 5-2 at No. 1 doubles this season and sports a career doubles mark of 19-3.

The Panthers will host Lyndon State College Tuesday on Senior Day at the Holderness School Courts, and will travel to league-leading Rhode Island College Saturday for a key conference match-up.
