Six Panthers post top-three finishes to lead the team
PLYOUTH, N.H. – The Plymouth State University women's track & field team placed fifth out of six teams Friday afternoon at the PSU Winter Classic held at the Davis Track.
Junior Allbanie Anderson (Somersworth, N.H.) was a top performer for PSU on the track. She took third place in the 400 meters, finishing in 1:08.64, and was joined by sophomores Amanda Bomely (Middletown, Conn.), Brianna Warnick (Derry, N.H.) and Diana Perez (Cranston, R.I.) for a second place in the 4x200 meter relay.
Sophomore Selena Baillargeon (Saranac Lake, N.Y.) led the way for PSU in the field events. She captured second place in the shot put (11.48m/37'8") and took sixth in the weight throw (10.90m/25'9.25").

* Sophomore Rileigh Goulette (Saint Albans, Vt.) and freshman Molly Ingram (Wolfeboro, N.H.) had strong performances in the mile run, Goulette finishing in second place with a time of 5:49.69 and Ingram right behind in third in 5:52.80.
* In addition to her relay finish, Perez took second place in the long jump (5.04m/16'6.5") and 10th place in the 60 meters (8.66).
* Fourth-place finishers for the Panthers included junior Kerry Field (Salem, N.H.) in the triple jump (9.15m/30'0.25"); sophomore Isabella Mongillo (Hamden, Conn.) in the 400 meters (1:10.26); and sophomore Ashley Bergeron (Berlin, N.H.) in the 3,000 meters (11:54.79).
* After a break for final exams and the holidays, the Panthers return to action on Saturday, Jan. 21, at the Panther Invitational at the Davis Track.
