Bagley, Goulette post runner-up finishes to lead Panthers
PLYMOUTH, N.H. – The Plymouth State University women's track & field team finished in fourth place out of six teams Saturday afternoon at the Panther Invitational held at the Davis Track.
Freshman Eve Bagley (Holliston, Mass.) and sophomore Rileigh Goulette (Saint Albans, Vt.) led the Panthers with second place finishes in individual events. Bagley was runner-up in the 500 meter dash in 1:28.27, and Goulette was second in the 800 meters in 2:31.58. Goulette's time was the fastest time for a PSU runner this season in the 800 meters and meets the Little East Conference qualifying standard.
The Panthers also had a pair of third-place finishers in field events. Sophomore Diana Perez (Cranston, R.I.) was third in the long jump with a leap of 4.59 meters (15'0.75"), and sophomore Kayla Gould (Orford, N.H.) was third in the pole vault with a mark of 2.35m (7'8.5").

MORE PSU HIGHLIGHTS
* Two Panther sprinters placed fourth in races on the track -- sophomore Amanda Bomely (Middletown, Conn.) in the 60 meter dash (8.69 seconds) and freshman Rebecca Khimatian (Cumberland, R.I.) in the 200 meter dash (29.95 seconds).
* Two Panthers place fourth in field events as well – freshman Gabrielle Robins (Plymouth, N.H.) in the high jump (1.42 meters/4'7.75") and sophomore Selena Baillargeon (Saranac Lake, N.Y.) in the shot put (11.00m/36'1.25"). Baillergeon also had a personal-best mark in the weight throw with a toss of 11.32m (37'1.75").
* The Panthers finished in third place in both relay races. The team of Bomely, junior Allbanie Anderson (Somersworth, N.H.), Khimatian, and Perez took third in the 4x200 meter relay in 1:56.80, and the contingent of Bagley, Goulette, and sophomores Jennifer Marcus (Eliot, Maine) and Isabella Mongillo (Hamden, Conn.) finished third in the 4x800 meters in 11:07.69.
* The Panthers return to the track next Saturday, Jan. 28, at the Tufts Stampede (10:00 a.m.) in Medford, Mass.
