PLYMOUTH, N.H -- Plymouth State College volleyball used its depth Thursday to easily defeat St. Josephs College in three games, 15-8, 15-4, 15-9, at Foley Gymnasium.
With the win, the Panthers improve to 16-9 on the season. The Monks fall to 5-23.
In the first game of the match and PSC trailing 3-1, the Panthers scored seven unanswered points to take control of the match for the rest of the evening. Freshman Amber Greenlaw (Gilford, NH) served five straight points to aid in the Panther cause.
Leading the way for Plymouth State was sophomore Carin LaValley (Northfield, NH) and freshman Becky Landry (Nashua, NH) who had 17 and 11 kills respectively. Sophomore setter Jessie O'Hearn (Tilton, NH) added 24 assists.
PSC, which won its third match in a row, returns to action on Saturday when it travels to Providence, RI for a Little East Conference Round Robin event against Eastern Connecticut and Rhode Island College.
