Panthers spike Endicott
PLYMOUTH, N.H. -- Plymouth State College volleyball used its depth Monday to easily defeat Endicott College in three games, 30-27, 30-20, 30-24, at Foley Gymnasium.
With the win, the Panthers improve to 8-3 on the season. The Power Gulls fall to 3-6. PSC never trailed in any of the three games en route to its eighth victory of the season.
Leading the way for Plymouth State was junior Carin LaValley (Northfield, N.H.) and sophomore Becky Landry (Nashua, N.H.) who had 17 and eight kills respectively. Junior setter Jessie O'Hearn (Tilton, N.H.) added 38 assists while sophomore Joanna Brothers (Meredith, N.H.) chipped in with six kills.
Endicott freshman Brianna Bates (Belmont, N.H.) did all she could to keep Endicott in the match registering 12 kills and three service aces.
PSC, which won its third match in a row, returns to action on Wednesday when it hosts UMass-Boston for a Little East Conference match. The first serve is set for 6:00 p.m.
