PLYMOUTH, N.H. - The Plymouth State University women's volleyball team got its season off to a good start Friday night, winning its first two matches in the annual Cobblestone Inn Invitational Tournament at Foley Gymnasium.
PSU defeated Newbury College, 3-1 (30-12, 25-30, 30-13, 30-27) in the opening match, and came back with a 3-0 sweep (32-30, 30-20, 30-24) over Lasell Colllege n the second match. PSU is now 2-0 on the season with two more matches slated for Saturday.
