PSU Women's Volleyball spikes Norwich
NORTHFIELD, Vt. - The Plymouth State University women's volleyball team coasted to an easy 3-0 victory over Norwich University Wednesday evening at Andrews Hall, winning by scores of 30-23, 30-9, and 30-19. The win boosts Plymouth State's record to 12-8, while Norwich goes to 5-16.
PSU freshman Eliza Badeau (Foster, R.I.) logged a match-high 16 kills for the Panthers, while sophomore Sarah Spears (Meredith, N.H.) turned in a match-high 16 digs. Freshman setter Brianna Kleckner (Terryville, Conn.) ran the offense and finished with 42 assists.
Norwich was led by Lauren Aikens, who recorded nine digs and nine assists. Ami Fuller and Amanda Plachek each made four kills.
PSU is back in action Saturday with a 3:30 p.m. non-conference match at Wheaton. The Cadets return to Andrews Hall on Saturday to host a GNAC tri-meet with Suffolk and Southern Vermont.
