PLYMOUTH, N.H. - The Plymouth State University volleyball team tied a pair of school records Tuesday evening with its 10th straight home victory against no losses, capturing a three-game sweep (30-12, 30-13, 30-18) over Salem State College at Foley Gymnasium.
The Panthers are now 10-0 at home this season, matching the 10-0 home record Plymouth State finished with during its inaugural season in 1996. PSU improves to 16-10 this season, while Salem State drops to 1-17.
Freshman Eliza Badeau (Foster, R.I.) led the Panthers with 11 kills and a pair of digs. Sophomores Wendy Dziedzic (Nashua, N.H.) and Regan Bowlen (Portsmouth, N.H.) chipped in with seven and six kills, respectively. PSU had another strong serving night with 22 aces, including seven by Bowlen and six by freshman Brianna Kleckner (Terryville, Conn.)
The Panthers wrap up the regular season this Friday and Saturday at the Brandeis Tournament. The Little East Conference Tournament begins next Tuesday, with the first-round match-ups being determined after this weekend's conference matches.
