Randall leads Panther to nine-place jump over last season
NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass – The Plymouth State University women's cross country team used a balanced team effort Saturday morning to place 20th out of 37 schools at the 44th Annual UMass Dartmouth Invitational.
The Panthers' team finish is a nine-place jump from last season's performance at the same race. The PSU women's 1-5 average time (20:23) was a school record by 52 seconds. Leading the way was freshman Dayshia Randall (Troy, N.Y.), who placed 59th among the 275 runners in the 5,000 meter race in 19:42.

* Randall established a new school record with her performance of 19:42. Freshman Molly Ingram (Wolfeboro, N.H.), 80th in 20:03, was also under the old school record.
* Other scorers for PSU included sophomores Haley Dennis (Coventry, R.I.), 107th in 20:32, and Ashley Bergeron (Berlin, N.H.), 114th in 20:36, and junior Rileigh Goulette (Saint Albans, Vt.), 137th in 21:02.
*12 of PSU's 17 women who raced achieved lifetime PRs.
