Panther runners Brunnette and Bartlett finish in top 20 among 432 competitors
WESTFIELD, Mass. – It was another strong Saturday for Plymouth State University sophomore runners Sam Brunnette (Newport, Vt.) and Warren Bartlett (Loudon, N.H.). The Panther duo posted top-20 finishes among the 432 runners to lead the PSU men's cross country team at the 21st Annual James Earley Invitational, hosted by Westfield State University.
Brunnette finished eighth overall and Bartlett was 20th in the 8,000 meter race, Brunnette finishing in 25:48 and Bartlett in 26:14. They helped the Panthers finish in 14th place among the 41 competing schools.
The race served as a preview to the New England regionals, which will be run there on Nov. 12. Two Panther runners posted career-best times in the race.

* Personal PRs were posted by Byington and fellow freshman Hunter Zabkar (Dover, N.H.)
* PSU outscored three teams that previously had finished ahead of them this year … Worcester State, Wentworth and Bridgewater State.
