Panthers post top finish in program history
BOSTON – The Plymouth State University women's cross country team posted its top finish in its four years as a varsity program Friday afternoon, finishing runner-up among 18 schools at the Emmanuel Saints Invitational held at Franklin Park.
PSU finished with a team score of 96, behind team champion Norwich University (62) and ahead of third-place Colby-Sawyer College (112) and fourth-place Emerson (113). The Panthers moved up four spots from last year's sixth-place finish.
Junior Rileigh Goulette (Saint Albans, Vt.) was the top Panther finisher, placing 13th among the 167 runners in the 5k race in 20 minutes, 58 seconds.

* This was the fourth time (out of five meets) the PSU women had a 1-5 spread under one minute.
* With the conference championships up next, PSU rested several of its top runners.
