PSU Women’s Cross Country places 32nd at NCAA Regionals

Ingram paces Panthers with school-record time

            WESTFIELD, Mass. – Freshman Molly Ingram (Wolfeboro, N.H./Brewster Academy) posted a school-record time Saturday, helping Plymouth State University to a 32nd place finish among 59 teams at the NCAA Division III Regional qualifier at Stanley Park, hosted by Westfield State University.

            Ingram completed the 6k course in 24 minutes, four seconds, 19 seconds faster than her previous school record for that distance. She was PSU's top finisher, placing 150th among the 406 competitors in the race.

            Plymouth State's 32nd place is its best finish in four years as a varsity sport, bettering last year's 40th place finish.

PSU HIGHLIGHTS

* PSU's top five runners all posted personal best times. Other scorers for the Panthers included sophomore Rileigh Goulette (Saint Albans, Vt.), 163rd in 24:17; freshman Dayshia Randall (Troy, N.Y.), 184th in 24.32; sophomore Haley Dennis (Coventry, R.I.), 199th in 24:43; and senior Sarah Uhlman (Ashland, N.H.), 235th in 25:19.

* Ingram's finish is the best in the program history, improving on Dennis' 187th place last year.
