Eric Gibbs joined the Plymouth State University Sports Medicine team for the 2001-02 academic year.
A New Hampshire native, he earned a B.S. in Physical Education-Sports Medicine from Keene State College in 1995. After a year at Merrimack Valley Physical Therapy in Bedford, N.H., Gibbs returned to Keene State for a three-year stint, prior to attending Northern Illinois University, where he earned his MSEd in Sports Management. While serving as a Graduate Assistant and clinical instructor at NIU, he provided athletic training services for D-1A football, wrestling and men's and women's swimming and diving.
Gibbs currently provides athletic training services for the men’s soccer, women’s tennis, men’s ice hockey and women’s lacrosse teams. He also serves as a preceptor in the CAATE approved Athletic Training Education Program.
Gibbs is a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer and is licensed in the State of New Hampshire.
