Box Score The Warriors nipped the Panthers for the win
MANSFIELD, Conn. – The fifth-seeded Plymouth State University women's soccer team narrowly lost to top-seeded Eastern Connecticut in Thursday night's Little East Conference semi-final action, 2-1.
The Panthers and Warriors held each other at one goal apiece though the first half, and then Warrior Kaley Pratt (Milford, Ma.) knocked in the game winner at 74:36. Senior Panther goalkeeper Annaliese Schmidt (Newmarket, N.H.) had another spectacular night with 10 saves, ending her four-year career of distinction. Tonight, ends the best Panther season on record since '03, and its first showing in the semi-finals of the LEC tournament since '01.
