Plymouth State Athletics Communications

The Plymouth State University Athletics Communications office acts as a liaison between the Department of Athletics and local and national media. Working in conjunction with the University’s communications team, the Athletics Communications office handles all media and public relations for each of the Panthers’ 25 varsity athletic programs.

In addition to maintaining the official website for Plymouth State athletics, the Athletics Communications office oversees the production of all forms of athletics-related communicative materials including game programs and media guides.

The Athletics Communications office manages the department’s social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram), provides web-streamed broadcasts of home events, coordinates student-athlete and coach interview requests with local and national media, reports all statistical data to the NCAA, Little East Conference and other league affiliates and maintains all Plymouth State athletics history, records and archives.

All interview requests with Plymouth State student-athletes and coaches must be arranged through the Athletics Communications office. It is preferred that members of the media wishing to conduct phone interviews supply a phone number for the student-athlete to contact the reporter. Phone numbers of student-athletes will not be released.

Requests for game-day media credentials should be made through the Athletics Communications office. Only Plymouth State staff and credentialed media will be allowed within the playing area of each venue. The full photography policy is available here.
