QUINCY, Mass. – After a close first quarter of play, the Plymouth State University women's basketball team was unable to keep pace, losing to an undefeated Eastern Nazarene College team, 69-45, in a non-conference game at Lahue Athletic Center on Monday night.
Sophomore
Sabrina Vlahovic (New Hope, Pa.) once again led the Panthers in scoring with nine points while adding five rebounds. Junior
Halie Hurd (Washington, N.H.) chipped in with eight points off the bench, shooting 3-of-7 from the floor.
The Lions saw three players scoring in double digits to take the home victory.
Plymouth State falls to 1-2 on the season, while the Lions go to 4-0.

- The Lions hit six of their first seven field goal attempts to take an early 12-5 lead in the first quarter of play.
- Plymouth battled back, and Hurd's jumper as time ran out cut the deficit to 17-15.
- The Lions roared ahead, scoring the first nine points of the second quarter to extend the lead to 26-15.
- PSU was held to 11 second quarter points and found themselves down 39-26 at the half.
- Plymouth State was unable to cut into the lead during the third as the Lions went into the final ten minutes with a 52-32 advantage.
