WBB: Panthers dominant in win over Colby-Sawyer

PLYMOUTH, N.H. – The Plymouth State University women's basketball defeated the Colby-Sawyer College Chargers, 47-31, in a non-conference game in Foley Gymnasium Tuesday night.
 
The Panthers led start to finish, defensively holding the Chargers to 13 second half points while spreading the ball around for an overall, well-rounded team victory.
Freshman Ashley Stephens (Pembroke, N.H.) and senior Lauren Keller (Fort Morgan, Colo.) each recorded nine points, while junior Bri Wilcox (Londonderry, N.H.) added eight points of her own. Graduate student Lea Crompton (Dunbarton, N.H.) recorded seven points in the winning effort.
 
The Panthers are off to their best start since the 2019-20 season. Plymouth State improves to 3-1, while Colby-Sawyer falls to 1-4.
