Emily Philbrook (Penacook, N.H.) and freshman
Rose Karow (South Yarmouth, Mass.) paced the Plymouth State University women's cross country team with top-12 finishes to spring the Panthers to a top-ten finish at the Keene State Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
Philbrook and Karow tag teamed the 5k course as they crossed the line in 10th and 11th place, respectively, with Philbrook crushing her career-best by more than 45 seconds in 19:15.90. Karow was right on her heels in 19:16.20, with both finishing within the top-five of Little East Conference (LEC) competitors.
The Panthers scored tenth as a team and fourth among LEC rivals, tying UMass Dartmouth in points and finishing ahead of UMass Boston and Rhode Island College.

How it Happened:
- The duo of Philbrook and Karow teamed up for 10th and 11th place finishes with times of 19:15.90 and 19:16.20. Philbrook destroyed her personal best by over 45 seconds.
- Junior Lexi Marcolini (Milford, Mass.) took a top-80 finish in a time of 19:37.90, while classmate Abby Snow (Grantham, N.H.) and freshman Abby Bergeron (Essex Jct., Vt.) snagged top-100 finishes in season best times of 22:13.20 and 22:15.40.
- Sophomore Amber Fernald (Alton, N.H.) and senior Emma Duggan (Concord, Mass.) finished in season best times of 24:17.70 and 25:52.50 to close out PSU's top seven.
