PLYMOUTH, N.H. – The Plymouth State University women's basketball team defeated the Western Connecticut State University Wolves, 74-56, in a Little East Conference (LEC) clash at Foley Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon.
The win gives Plymouth State the season sweep against the Wolves. PSU's last sweep of an LEC team came against Keene State during the 2018-19 season.
Three Panthers recorded double-digit scoring on the afternoon, with junior
Bri Wilcox (Londonderry, N.H) leading the way with 19 points. Freshman
Ashley Stephens (Pembroke, N.H.) poured in 15 points of her own, while sophomore
Hailey Malozzi (Maynard, Mass.) scored 10 points in the winning effort for the Panthers.
Plymouth State improves to 8-8 (4-4 LEC), while the Wolves fall to 5-13 (1-8 LEC).
