PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Senior
Josh Crosswhite (Littleton, Mass.) was one of 60 student-athletes honored by the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) on Wednesday when the league announced its 2024 Fall Sportsmanship Team.
The MASCAC Sportsmanship Team is intended to recognize one student-athlete from each team in every sport that best demonstrates the values of the MASCAC and its Sportsmanship Statement, regardless of their overall performance or statistics on the season.
"I want to commend the 60 student-athletes from across the conference who were recognized on the 2024 MASCAC Fall Sportsmanship Team," Commissioner Angela Baumann said. "These student-athletes have showcased outstanding sportsmanship, which is a fundamental principle of the MASCAC. We are proud to acknowledge these individuals for embodying these commendable traits."
Crosswhite, a 6-2 wide receiver, appeared in all nine games for the Panthers, finishing the year with four catches for 59 yards. He also added five tackles and a forced fumble on special teams.
Led by 22-year head coach
Paul Castonia, Plymouth State went 5-4 on the season to finish .500 or better in MASCAC play for the eighth straight year. The Panthers were tied for third in the final league standings.
