PLYMOUTH, N.H. – The Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) announced its Fall/Winter 2023 All-Academic Team on Thursday, and 69 Plymouth State University student-athletes were among those honored.
Student-athletes who compete in championship varsity sports offered by the MASCAC during the course of the Fall and Winter 2023 athletic season and have achieved a 3.20 cumulative or semester-based grade point average during the semester are eligible for selection to the Fall/Winter All-Academic team.
"It is my honor as Commissioner to congratulate the 2023 MASCAC Fall/Winter All-Academic Team," said MASCAC Commissioner Angela Baumann. "We saw a significant increase in those recognized from last year's team which shows the commitment to excellence that our student-athletes in the conference strive to achieve. I am so proud of their hard work on the fields, courts and classrooms of our conference."
Plymouth State had 48 representatives from the football program, easily the most among all MASCAC institutions, while the men's hockey program had 21 honorees.
A total of 1,390 student-athletes were recognized across the league's full-time and affiliate members. Plymouth State is an affiliate member of the MASCAC in the sports of football and men's ice hockey.
