NEW LONDON, N.H. – The Plymouth State University men's soccer team fell to the Colby-Sawyer College Chargers, 4-0, in a non-conference matchup on Kelsey Soccer Field on Saturday evening.
The Panthers struggled to find their footing after conceding a penalty kick in the first few minutes of play. Colby-Sawyer took full advantage of the home field conditions as a second converted penalty kick found the Chargers ahead by a 4-0 first half margin.
The Panthers responded with a strong second half performance but were unable to find the back of the net. Freshman
Colby Cowan (Oakdale, Conn.) provided a good second half spark for the Panthers recording two shots and one on goal. In total, seven different players recorded a shot on goal.
